They revised their application site, so I resubmitted for a couple of places. IRT's been good to me for a little over five years. But I feel it's time to bounce since they're hinting at wanting me to go further out on the road. All good things must come to an end.

Urban millennials are making today's housing gridlock worse

Today's housing crisis isn't just because of unaffordable homes, per a USC study. Millennials …

I just pulled Reno out of the air as an example.
Good spot for truckers since it's right on I-80.
Several LTL outfits and other local work there.

I looked at Reno and Wendover, Nevada but settled in Henderson/Las Vegas.

ODFL regardless of where they are seems to pay extremely better than where I'm at right now. Of course the Denver, Amarillo, and possibly some Kansas terminal are now in my sights if they let me. Of course anywhere in Kansas and Amarillo are going to be the cheaper and less densely packed locations when it comes to people. Weird thing about Texas is that due to its size, the COL varies depending on what part of the state you're gunning for. Amarillo and Lubbock are still pretty affordable. While anything around Dallas, ATX, and Houston are getting in more in line with CA pricing. That and the traffic is garbage in that part of the state too.

I have about 6yrs experience. I was thinking like you, a no-income tax state. I know FL is one of them, but I swear none of these LTL’s will even call back for an interview. Most local jobs down here pay $50k, so an LTL paying $65k will sound like an amazing opportunity to most Floridians which is why those jobs are super hard to get and it’s the reason I’m considering to relocate.
