I’m not losing hope on it yet, but I think I’ll have to run some over nighters here and there. It’ll be a tough transition back to that, I put in a lot of years and miles spending time away from the house, I was really enjoying that phase of trucking being behind me. I plan to keep plowing ahead though, something will break loose sooner or later around the house.
to all end dump haulers...

Been running all over now that my truck has decided to give me a few days if work. Got a load of sand out of ohio going to KC. Though my tarp failed and im trying to find a place to replace it that doesnt have a 3 week wait XD
-
That wouldn’t be that gold course sand by chance would it? And sorry to hear about your tarp!
-
Got it in one. And no worries that tarp was older then me and was more patch then tarp to begin with so the fact it lasted 6 months was a suprise. At least a new 22oz one is only $700motocross25 Thanks this.

I just saw I wrote “gold course”, I’m glad you knew what I meant. I’m an idiot. Yep I’ve picked up there before. Man I’ve been seeing more and more trailers with electric tarps that are still able to barn door. I don’t know if I haven’t noticed them til just now or if it’s something new but it looks like a pretty slick setup.
-
Ive seen those, been thinking about picking one up when my lease on my pile of junk is up if i can lease or buy one for a good price. Though im still waffleing on a steel trailer instead because we do a lot of scrap.motocross25 Thanks this.

Yea actually a few I’ve seen are steel Mac’s. Which is nice because there is a Mac dealer in KC if I’m not mistaken. Man I saw a wanted add for your company they paying for and offering cell phones? That’s pretty decent. Do their company trucks have fridges in em and are company trailers spread axles?
-
No fridges but they will happily take a seat out to put in your own and all trucks have inverters powerful enough to do a microwave as well. This was my setup in my 389 when i was company just before they pulled the passenger seat. Dont have one of post seat though XD
All trailers save mine are split axles as well. -
I saw that same add @motocross25 bones seems like a class act, not too many companies out there like that anymore.

Pulled some local work this morning, been a tough few weeks so I'm trying to take the work where it's available but I'll tell you I'm not as good as I once was. It used to be getting up early, no matter the day of the week, didn't bother me much, I rolled out of bed at 3:15 this morning and pulled my two loads of lime, the last 20 minutes home this afternoon was absolutely brutal. Turned out to be about an 11 hour saturday, but it felt like 20 plus
Either way, the company gives us a little 50$ saturday bonus for 2 loads pulled so todays revenue will come in handy in case this week is as lack luster as last week. Hope everyone else is staying busy and making money.
motocross25 Thanks this.
