Are you mentally challenged? Can you not understand english? Where did I say screw everyone else or imply it?

Please show an example of how someone whining has ever changed anything for the better at any point in history.

 

Had a woman say something similar to me years before.

I was doing some carpentry work on a Thursday. A woman comes out of her house in amazement.

Woman: Sir, do you know what today is?

Six: Yes. Its Thursday.

Woman: Its Thanksgiving!

Six: Its just another Thursday to me.

Woman: What about your family?

Six: You see those two guys over there working? Those are my brothers. We are general contractors.

Woman: What about your mom, wife, girlfriend, kids, etc?

Six: No offense mam, but my family doesnt need the guvment to tell us when to be thankful, when we can sit down as an entire family and share a meal, or when to think about Mom or what to buy the kids or anything. At least twice a month, my entire family will sit down in one place to share a meal and not just because some political type says to.

Woman: I see your point.


Now you sir have decided that because others dont think like you that they must not be very dedicated to their family. Apparently because of your being "dedicated",your family must be better, more close-knit, stronger than mine, correct? And if I do things the way that you and your family do things, then I would be a better person, like you are, correct? Is that what you are saying to me, sir?

 

The only way I can figure it is that alot of these OTR types must either be gay or have 400-lbs wildebeasts as wives/girlfriends.
Seriously, how can you stand not getting laid for 2-3 weeks on the road?
I suppose this is the reason for all the lot-lizards and hookers.

Add in the no friends, family, or social life whatsoever...and no thanks, not interested!!!!

 

And local drivers are afraid if they go out of town their horny wives will find somebody better . If your marital relationship evolves around your sex life you and your wife have my sympathy .
Most OTR drivers have wives they know have the combination of qualities that it takes to be a real wife , mother , and devoted life partner . These women aren't whiners either .

 

Just like you decided that since I wont sell my soul to the steering wheel and I am not happy with my job and how I am treated that I am a "whiner" and I not a "real" truckdriver and therefore I should quit driving! And if I let the company bend me over the fuel tank and butt rape me anytime they want, then I would be a better person like you are, correct? Is that what YOU are saying to me, sir?

I'm saying that I'm satisfied with my life. You are dissatisfied and unhappy and since I am satisfied, in your mind, something must be wrong with me. But how can anything be wrong with me if I am satisfied? After all, you dont see me on a TRUCK DRIVER website crying to TRUCK DRIVERS about being a TRUCK DRIVER.

Does that make any sense? Its like you went buying a DVD about a western, popping it into your DVD player and being disappointed that you got "The Outlaw Jose Wales" and you were looking for Brokeback Mountain.

I have friends all over the country! These are people that I would have never met if I had been home. My kids are grown and successful at their chosen professions and I enjoy a great social life wherever I am in the country.

So....You're not interested, We get that because it's all you EVER say.

Judging from every post that I've ever read from you...I'd be surprised if you had any friends....Seriously dude, You are the most bitter individual I have evr encountered!

 

Since you are so good at speaking the "truth", here is some truth for you. You might have a great job cuz you "paid your dues", but when you leave the business (willingly or unwillingly as our gov't is trying to get rid of truckers with experience), you can and will be replaced by someone who will work for HALF as much money as you make and who will put up with TWICE the garbage as you do. Why??? Because of attitudes like yours! The oppurtunities in trucking are gone, they have been replaced by the lowest bidder.
We've all seen the unbelievable explosion of CDL mills turning out newbies as fast as they can. They are coming to take YOUR job. And you may not know this, but your own company doesnt want you anymore either! Why should they pay you the high wage you command when the rookie can do it for half as much, THEY MAKE MORE MONEY AND PUT UP WITH LESS CRAP FROM DIFFICULT DRIVERS!
Hey, who cares, right? You got your good job and made your money! Why should you care about what happens on down the line? Forget anyone else!

 

Maybe there's something in the water in Ohio that makes them that way...I'm just sayin'
