You mean like the jeeps they took command of a few year back. While I could never accomplish this. Plenty of people can, and will. -
Somebody still has to open the trailer doors and back that baby in.

At smaller locations, sure, but at DC’s, etc, opening a trailer door, securing it, dropping the landing gear, popping the fifth wheel release and quick disconnecting the airlines and power lines can all be engineered and built by a fifth and sixth grade competitive robotics team.
And if they can send a truck down the interstate without a driver, they can have a yard dog back into a door with one arm tied behind their back........snowwy Thanks this. -
Won't need any windshields wiped or headlights cleaned. Former driver be out on the lake, not concerned about little mundane things any more.

What we got here is real forward thinking, might even work in a line of code to sweep the trailer out.bzinger Thanks this.

And a hijackers wet dream.. Just direct it to "my place" down here in the hood. Got 20 strong teenagers to unload it.BigBob410 and jamespmack Thank this.

And one of the crane like things on the frame with an arm the will shoot out at random and pluck a hood or two. Be quite near normal, really.kylefitzy Thanks this.

They still do that in certain states, I just fueled in Oregon and the guy came running towards me. I'm like "it's diesel", they have a sign that says diesel vehicles fuel themselves cause they had to pay for too many diesel vehicles that got regular gas in their tanks
