Central Refrigerated Truck Stop

I do have a very large family. I am the baby of 5 with 101 1st cousins. The girls and I are going to do Christmas Eve like we have always done. Then Christmas day with my family during lunch then go to 1bads Nana's to see his folks. Business as usual we will take lots and lots of pictures to share with him. And I have promised him a really big meal when he gets back in town. Thanks, to everyone for all the well wishes. I was really just venting on here yesterday b/c no one else in our family is in trucking so the friends I have on here are really the only ones that understand why this sux so bad!

Ya'll be safe out there I here another storm is brewing for the mid section of the country. I hope 1bad makes it in and out of PA ok!

 

Well I finally finished training. Was out a week with my trainer had a medical problem and had to go home for a week. Got it taken care of and they got me a new trainer 10 days befor thanksgiving. He took me with the stipulation that he got to drop me at home and then go home for his scheduled thanks giving home time. Got back out on Dec. 2 and was supposed to upgrade the 10th. Didn't get back to slc till the 17th. Now am through with upgrade, finished Mon. they didn't have a load to get me the five hrs home. So sent me home till the 28th when my partner and I will get our truck and get moving. Hope we get a good dm and get some decent miles. Am thankful to be home safe with my family while this storm hits. Please be Careful out there and be safe.

Saw this Ad on Sac craigslist, seems like this school is saying they train for Central, thought from reading this thread that Central was only hiring from their own school? Anyone know if thats true or not?

I'm just off I-25 and you can see the barn if you look east. You can make out the silhouette of my truck, and it is now hooked to a flatbed because I'm off the road and farming now. Using the truck to haul hay.

 

I believe this is legit. I am in school right now in Riverside and the School that Central use's is the Driving Academy, the same one that is listed in the add.

 

Hey LastKidPicked, I'm Graduating end of this week, I will be out with my Trainer next week, maybe I will be able to keep up the tradition. I would like to get to know some of you guys on here.

when I was in school in fontana a couple of weeks ago, the instructors were talking about a school in modesto

 

Ya its legit I went there for central. They stopped excepting apps there for awhile cause of the holidays. But the modesto and sac schools must be opened back up. It was nicer there cause we had a week in class then 3 weeks in the yard. An hour a day to drive so we had 15-20hrs of on the road driving. A lot nicer then just 5hrs on the road like fontana and WVC.

Hey widow, I'm gonna be in Conley for the holidays know any good places around there to have a good christmas dinner? Somewhere where I won't get stabbed or shot and have to fear for my life?
