We enjoyed our time at S&S but decided to move on. I wish everyone with the company good health and success in everything they do.

I heard yall left. Hope you moved on to something better!

I'm home every night. Only have 8-9 1/2 hour days, make more than I did at S&S working all that overtime, and just got myself an 800+ a month raise. I drive to SC and back and I'm done. They currently have me as the only tanker driver, so I deliver a tanker load every few weeks. Kind of a nice break from the drop/hook lol. And not nearly the stress and problems that you had to deal with there, so that itself is worth it.

    Best wishes to yall!

    dwells40 and Lonesome Thank this.

Things go in cycles. I went with another company for about 20% more $ last week. I'm driving a Pete 389. I'm not sure I like it for backing. Very hard to see around the stack.

My first run was home to get my stuff. About 675 miles. My next run is to OR, 2040 miles. Drove about 8.5 hrs today and still in TX. Would have kept going but hit a nasty rain storm and it was getting dark. We'll see how it goes.

Brian invited me back. I like S&S and would have stayed but for the money. There is talk S&S is going to go with a 2500 mile guarantee. Miles were not an issue for me. It was the live load and unload that killed the clock.

I'd imagine you'll get used to maneuvering around that beautiful truck!

When I was OTR there, same thing. Miles were no problem, it was the dock times that killed ya. I can't remember if you gave em 2 or 4 hours free, but thats almost a whole day wasted.

After going drop/hook, I dont think I could ever go back to sitting at docks.

I guess I m the last man standing lol. I m.happy to see all of you doing great things after S&S. I m pondering wether to leave in 2022 or sooner, or just get out of trucking for good.

    Governed at 72 for the 1st 30 days. If that's not a problem, 75. I like it.

Very nice. Enjoy it. Not like Dynamic transit that has those beautiful Petes at 70.
