    On a serious note.
I have always tried to help my fellow drivers. If you work for a company that allows you to go to your own doctor and you are worried about your physical let me know. I have a awesome doctor in the Minneapolis area. You will love this guy.

Current rate paid per mile for new hires with ten years experience? If you would be so kind. Thanks.

I may use him! Does SAV let us get the physical done at any doctor?

    Yes sir!
We don't have a company doctor. You go to the doctor of your choosing.

My guess would be about 52.
Raises come pretty fast. It's reasonable to say you'll be at 56 within a year.

That's too bad, otherwise SAV seemed like a good company. Thank you for your reply.

Their starting pay is negotiable, at least it was when I applied w 28 yrs experience, however the health insurance was a deal breaker for me.

I’ve driven all the new trucks, the new Ultralofts are pretty nice Smurf.

Yeah everyone here has different pay rates.
So it can be hard to say exactly what you will start at. We're pretty competitive. Not going to say you can't do better.
But pay doesn't make a good job to me. It's part of it of course. But the way I'm treated along with a decent check is what I look for the most. We don't have to put up with a bunch of crazy rules. Being treated like a dog. I've seen this company pay for a driver mom's funeral. I've seen this company help a driver buy a car because hers blew up.
I've seen this company fly a driver home for a funeral and send another driver to recover the loaded trailer. While I enjoy a nice pay check as much as the next driver, The little things is why I work for SAV!

I read through this thread a few days ago. I think it was mentioned towards the end of this thread that there are no APU's in the trucks and you can't idle between 40 - 70 degrees. But at the start of the thread you guys had APU's but then I guess they stopped ordering trucks with APU's and also instituted that harsh no idling range. Do I have that right?

Letting drivers have an APU or unlimited idle time is huge as far as treating drivers good, especially since Covid a lot of warehouses won't let drivers inside to wait while they get loaded or unloaded but they won't let you idle while you're waiting on them to load you either. Which can be a huge problem during the summertime in the south and the wintertime in the north if they're taking more than 30 minutes to finish.
