I know what I would do.......but cant discuss it here. Cough, cough.
Cattleman84 and JoeyJunk Thank this. -
Well thanks to their stupidity, my engine now has a million different types of issues. Even if I pay $24k on rebuilding that engine, its going to break again in a matter of months.
Is there a law that prevents switching a DD50EGR engine with a non-EGR? Because thats the only spare engine I have at this point. -
stop resisting. That $2 in your pocket isn’t going to hurt if you spend it.
Crude Truckin' Thanks this. -
What's a DD50????
The best way to create yourself a never ending nightmare is to have the engine altered.spsauerland and Crude Truckin' Thank this. -

listen google is your friend. Once you start searching, what I have said would make sense. Short of getting banned no one here can help you but majority of us know how specially on the S60

4 cylinder version of S60. Was a popular bus engine.Dave_in_AZ Thanks this.

If it isnt a glider, the truck must have the engine emissions required for that year. No, it isn't legal to switch to a non-egr engine. But you gotta read between the lines on this thread. Personally, I wouldn't lose sleep worrying about the EGR police, get my drift?DetroitS60 and LoneRanger Thank this.

I know what people are talking about, but I don't want to do that.
Regarding the emission year, its weird because I have the same type of truck that was built in the same year but that engine isn't an EGR (it was never altered).Crude Truckin' Thanks this.
