And yet still no picture of your "work friendly" truck... BTW. He got backed in with out hitting anything didn't he ??? That's what counts...T.Rucker, Speed_Drums, Roberts450 and 5 others Thank this.

Might take a bit longer to bump a dock, but when he leaves, he gets to spend four days driving that nice truck to point B. I'd take ten minutes of hell for that.
Speed_Drums, Slowpoke KW, Roberts450 and 6 others Thank this. -
If you were a shipper and was approached by two carriers about direct freight which would you choose if they both quoted the same amount? I’d probably lean towards the one that shows up clean and polished because to me that says I don’t have to worry about my product getting damaged along the way. Pride always wins in my book. I don’t know how the company I’m working got their start but I do know now we do blanket wrap and all kinds of stuff for premium rates. And certain things we’re asked to get washed before showing up. So it must play a part somewhat. Sort of like the video a shared a few pages back with the fancy trucks and conestogas that get requested by their customers.Last edited: Sep 3, 2021

Speaking of pride. On you tube a man took a 18 speed shifter apart ( or so I'm guessing).
He now has 1 shifter stick. 1 High low stick. And one splitter stick. More knobs and gauges than what I thought could fit in a truck. That truck looks both nice a neat.
Neat as in a cool toy. I couldn't drive it thou. I can't even play Atari.beastr123, JoeyJunk, Last Call and 1 other person Thank this. -
I’m sure a shipper would rather see a guy with a belt buckle then with pants down to the knees. Oh yeah the infamous flip-flops don’t forget those

There was a guy on here once went by rambling man. Some how found himself in a cattle truck in the wilds of Montana. Told me every chance he got how stupid I was for having a hood. I don’t remember what kinda truck he had but it was almost an Aero type truck. Said I didn’t know come here from sick em about running a business. Now this went on forever............then he buys an owner financed W900L and I quote the most beautiful truck ever. After the truth came out he hasn’t been back. Seems he was envious of the hoods he complained about constantly.........lots of similarities I see here is all I know

I really like the looks of some of the freightliners. They can be super nice and I’d be proud to own one. @rollin coal truck is pretty #### nice!
in the end if someone is out hustling and makin a living it all that matters.
singlescrewshaker, BigBob410, Long FLD and 4 others Thank this. -
Dude just let it go. The horse is dead stop beating it. If a dude wants to drive a big truck that's a pain in the butt let him. He's not bothering you. You do what you wanna do and let others do what they wanna do. Don't hurt you, don't hurt me, nobody hurt everybody happy.
