Very few people will ever know how it feels to have a dream, build it, and get paid to play with your toys. I love a coffin sleeper.

Tilt steering column on a 359? That had to take a bit of doing to get that to work as I don't recall that as an option. Maybe 86/87 it was?

    Really cool truck!

I know what a dump switch it. But in this case, I'm not sure I get it.

The easy answer is that when pulling a spread you wire up a dump valve on one axle or the other or both to make it easier to get around with and also keep the tires from scrubbing so bad on turns. Now they can be as simple or as complex as you want to make them. I pulled a 52ft spread axle cattle trailer and I had a dump set up on the rear axle only because I wanted to effectively shorten the turning radius by having it pivot on the front axle. And I had it set up so that it would only dump 50% of the air from the back bags, taking enough off to slide around the corners without having all the weight on the front axle because of the aluminum subframe.

On reefers I’ve seen some amazing set ups, going so far as to add additional air tanks, running three bags per axle, fast fill valves, you name it. Just depends on your budget and what your goal is. If I were pulling a reefer I’d probably run a dump on both so you can dump the back for cornering and dump the front for getting into docks.

If you guys can afford to be a good provider for your family and still drive such a nice ride kudos to you. I just tired of seeing such nice rides parked in front of a mobile home..
    Let go of your ego..

What’s wrong with living in a mobile home? Some of the most generous, kind folks I know live in a mobile home.
