We have trailer 3800. Gonna load it tomorrow an take it to craftsmen. If any of ya get it an see the self airing valve is shut off, it's off cuz the system isn't working. Shop said leave it off so they'll see it when it comes through the yard an get it fixed. Tires are all up an holding air.

I had to do that on a dry van. That was to make the hiss go away. I ran over a piece of tire...oooops lol....is that the one you grabbed in Utah?

Yea got it up at Hershey in ogden. I didn't hear any air running so i switched the valve on and off an found that it's dead. No air pumping through the system. If the thermite plug inside the outer hub on any wheel goes out ya gotta shut them off as well. If ya don't it will leak air out the oiler plug an push gear oil out at same time. It's either called the thermite or thermal plug.

Yeah! I had slept there last night. I had woke up about an hour ago to run to the Walmart for odds and ends.....I'm about to head back now, are you in the lounge or your truck?

Gonna play dumb here. Been reading this thread for a while now, and I'm wondering what is this "craftsman" place yall keep speaking of? I assume it's either a shipper/receiver, or a town (most likely the former) but it's been driving me nuts here lately lol. Where is this place?

It's a trailer manufacturing place. We use part of thier property for a drop yard, so do several others. It's located in St. Charles IL
