I applaud your optimism. With the technology they have now and the never ending stream of sheeple to do their dirty work I feel like if it all happens again it'll be over in a matter of days.

This is a simple example of how people misunderstand data.
The 650K covid deaths mentioned are for just the United States.
The 650K flu deaths mentioned are for the entire world.
The author of the comment saw 650K mentioned in two places and came to the conclusion that "covid is nothing more than the flu" and "the flu has always been just as damaging". An astoundingly bad (and wrong) conclusion.
A better comparison:
There have been about 677K US covid deaths.
There have been about 4.6 million worldwide covid deaths.
In a typical year there are about 12,000 to 61,000 US flu deaths.
In a typical year there are possibly up to 650K worldwide flu deaths. -
...and that "data" is flawed and contaminated when the medical community is literally incentivized to find positive Covid flu cases. There isn't even a true test for covid flu. The PCR is a joke. Even the inventor states it shouldn't be used for positive diagnosis.
