No Restroom wth???? Has it happened to you?

Yep, I'm planning on getting that setup asap. It's honestly going to be more clean & sanitary than many of the truck stops I've been visiting lately.. not to mention the porta pottys with poo smeared all over.

That's a #### good idea.

 

You know this topic comes up very often and I just don't understand the phobias about it.

I have a 96 oz bottle that I cut the top of it off and if you go in that bottle walk it over to the grass and dumpi it out. You can put a little water in it, dump again, and spray some Lysol. Good as new and perfectly clean.

As far as the other maneuver goes, you keep a 5-gallon bucket in the truck, 13-gallon trash bags as the other person said, wipes, and I also keep not only Lysol spray but Lysol wipes.

How could there be any confusion or phobia about that? You're in a truck alone no one is going to bother you. You have all the supplies that you need to be sanitary what is the problem?

Sometimes Nature Calls and just like Forrest Gump says it happens. I had one week that due to the time and where I was and whatever I lost track of how many times that week I went in the truck.

It happens. Embrace Life. Be Fearless.

Sometimes you have to just let it go and let it out.

 

No laws anywhere say they are required to provide you with a restroom… you just have to figure out a unique way to take care of yourself discreetly.. Been in MANY places that only have facilities for men; and as a female driver was denied access to a bathroom… But,………..

 

That's why they call us professional drivers.

I had several direct customers who put in nice facilities for drivers, less than 90 days they were trashed. Writing and carving up mirror, wiping fecal matter on walls and other disgusting crap. Only drivers used them. Sorry but drivers in general are pigs. Just look in parking lots. Glad I sold out after 33 years of trucking and growing up in the industry. No all are pigs but a large percentage is. I can see why the general public despises drivers.

 

I had a empty lot in Mojave I used to let drivers park in, even put a large dumpster there. Finally fenced it off due to trash and other things left behind by drivers. So now when I hear nowhere to park I just laugh and ask gee I wonder why. I now charge a few local companies to park here, but right in the rental agreement they must keep it clean. Had a truck impounded for parking there, posted " No Trespass Tow Away". The driver was blaming me for stealing his trailer. Funny Grimmway was more than happy to pay the impound to get the trailer and load back.

 

I believe that the majority of drivers are decent people that don’t trash their surroundings.

A very disgusting minority doing stupid stuff like throwing #### bags on the lot is more than enough to paint everyone in a bad light though.

Trucking has shown me the best and worst of humanity.

 

Place a large boulder in the middle of an empty lot and some truckers will try to break it up.
