    So I guess my TND740 is obsolete. Tried again today as I have done for a good while now to do an update. Waste of time. It’s sad. Really doesn’t give me any problems as far as routing except for looking like I’m driving off road sometimes. Usually always gets me to where I’m going. Unless I really start having problems I’m not going to get a new one only to be obsolete in short order. Just wish Rand would back their product longer. A good programmer should be able to write code to update older models.

    Good grief.... I would think they should still support it. I was looking into buying a 750 at Joplin Petro/ Iowa80 yesterday and they still had a 740 in a sealed box in the display cabinet but were out of 750's. I didn't notice the price but I am sure it was a new 740. I would call RM customer service and go from there. I just updated my old 510 a couple weeks ago but it didn't cure it's hardware issues.
