Yes, really. That's why they request a LIFTIME MVR. Insurance rules this industry, and if that's the insurance policy carrier's rule, there's nothing they can do about it.
Nobody can see any other company's applications, and they definitely aren't calling the competition about potential applicants in fear of losing the applicant in the process.

You job is a PROFESSIONAL DRIVER and you were caught with 2 DUI's. That's a pattern unfortunately. Like if you wanted to work at a bank and you had 2 bank robbery convictions 25 and 35 years ago respectively do you think they would hire you? Even if you completely changed your ways there's no way for them to ever be sure. Dude. I don't know that you'll ever be able to work in trucking bro. Other's may have a different take on it. I'm interested to see what they say.
EDIT: disregard!! For any other industry you’d be SOL but you’re good to go in Trucking bro!!Last edited: Sep 23, 2021

Western Express would hire him... but that's not good advice, either.sventvkg Thanks this.

25 years is a lot of life experience and time for reflection and change, as well as a long time to pass without a 3rd DUI happening. I'd say the pattern could very well be broken. PLENTY of companies will hire him, some decent ones at that, and it wouldn't be a mistake IMO.

Driver Pulse is job application aggregator geared towards the Trucking Industry. No different than Monster, Indeed, Jobs.com and hundreds of others. If you are trying to hide something from a potential employer in this day and age.....???? Lol. Maybe the call center down the block doesn't give 2 $#!+$ about your " indiscretions"...... but they know about them..... Whether you filed a paper application, online, job fair, etc. The trucking industry is under increasing federal and public scrutiny..... Employers have to cover their asssess. Get used to it..... If you voted for Uncle Joe, celebrate it...... There is much more to come!

Im not trying to hide any indiscretions btw. Im just considering switching companies after a very short time with my current company and the company im considering requires them to be your first employer out of school to be eligible for tuition reimbursement. So I was just wondering if they could see that I have a current employer.
