There's 2 Heartland trucks here at Austinburg, OH. Wonder if either of them is Mr. Chromedome?
Stealing extra money from their L/O's on top of the screwing the company is already giving them? Now that is just real low, and hell, might just even be theft!!!! Hmmmm, lots of accidents, think it might be because of how they run their company? New drivers just might mean more aqccidents. That sounds like one of them things that make you go , hmmmmmmmm.

 

ive been going .hmmmmmmmmmmmm for a long time now . well getting ready to take back off again. have dinner, get a shower, and pack the truck then its off to piedmont sc and then to auroura ill. be safe out there everyone i hear its still nasty up north.

 

Sorry haven't posted for awhile, my laptop died. My wife got me a new one, so I'm back.

 

Anxiety starting to settle in, I have my Road test tomorrow the final test to get my CDL and on the way with my Driver Trainer. Really excited but nervous at the same time. Wish me luck please, I know I am ready and have the skills to be a safe driver in this industry.

On a totally different note here, RiverRunner his wife and JJ and I stopped at wings in Iowa tonight for a 10hr break and to meet and have Dinner.
The parking lot is snow packed and trucks are stuck everywhere, they have two snow plow trucks but the only part plowed is the Fuel Island I went in and asked could they plow a small section so a guy could get out and the NIGHT MANAGER suggested that the trucks that were stuck call a wrecker which is part of there truck stop and then he was Extremely rude and when I say Rude I mean rude.

The Wrecker was charging an Astronomical rate to pull the trucks out and a guy who has been here since Wednesday said it was $100.00 a truck.

Its a pity the food wasn't bad here but it won't get out business again.

As a relative newby. Solo (company obviously and will stay so) since about one month. What is it with the meat runs. I am on my second. Is this some kind of penance? Between the stupid windows for them to load and the current weather patterns...it is totally bonkers!

Any advice?
