They THINK they are good !!!!!!!! Big Difference !!!!!!! I'd bet over half out there are

NOT near as good as they think !!! and don't get me started about YRC !!!!!

 

What is YRC?

 

I live in a town where there was always about 10 trucking jobs listed in the paper. Maybe 20 more jobs listed non trucking. Now there is zero trucking jobs listed, but there is trucking school ads listed. There are very few other jobs listed. Some days there are 5 or 6 jobs posted. Most days none. 2 big factories went under here. Jobs are scarce here.

Visit a fair size truck stop, spend the day being a PEOPLE WATCHER...The stuff you'll see out there in the parking lot will amaze you !! About 50% percent of them do NOT even do a walk around, much less a pretrip inspection. Hell, they don't even know how many wheels and tires they have, let alone weather their trailer is still connected to their truck !! But they all THINK they're good drivers. There is SO much more to it then just aiming it down the road. Best Of Luck.....
