One of the first things to do when you go into a customer's is find out where the emergency switch that shuts the pumps off is.
If I had a person that was presenting a hazard I'd stop the flow from the truck, shut down the pumps, and then deal with the nut case.
The station owner might grumble at you for shutting off the pumps but that's his problem. Do the safest thing...always.

Only if the cops don't show up, it's dark, and there are no witnesses. Do whatever damage to him you figure is appropriate, then truss him up good with zip ties and leave him in back of the station by the dumpsters. Try to get him off to one side where he won't get run over He'll probably pee and crap all over himself but that's okay. The cops will hose him off before they put him in their car and he'll get hosed again at the jail.
This actually happened in Rocklin a couple of years ago. Note of caution...the only reason the driver wasn't put up on charges was because the guy he thumped couldn't pick him out of a lineup and the store employee never saw a thing.Speed_Drums, HiramKingWilliams and truckdad Thank this. -
Hey guys this Monday will be my first day back in a truck, I asked for my keys back and my previous company graciously accepted my return. I got out of trucking initially to enter the WFH economy, but I quickly realized how much I missed this job; all of it, even the things I thought I wouldn't. I'm glad I had the opportunity to try something else, it gave me a new perspective and made apparent the things I once took for granted. It's good to be back and I'll be seeing you guys around.scythe08, Rugerfan, Weeble Kneeble and 3 others Thank this.
