Have you ever even hauled a car?
uncleal13 Thanks this. -
That would depend on many factors. Are you properly registered with the FMCSA and DOT. Are you insured properly. What lane are you running?? Answer that and we can continue.BigBob410 Thanks this.

Both posts that you have made on this forum have left me with, huh? Neither have mentioned anything about transporting a single car.
Further, a post asking how to do something & you want to drill down about the posters gender while mentioning that you used to be engaged in cargo transportation. What? -
Had me scratching my head also. Not sure what gender had to do with any of it.

Not unusual at all I have worked with numerous female car haulers. Not exactly sure what that has to do with the question that was asked...

Bob I have made an observation lately that there is an over abundance of D@@b A@s Fockers with next to no previous posts who are posting stupid stuff in this forum. Kind of reminds me of channel 19 back in the day.
On a side note the women carhaulers I have seen, I would not smart off to as they typically are all business and don’t look like they would put up with any BS.BigBob410 Thanks this. -
I’ve noticed the same..one hit wonders with nothing of value to say. Also as to the o p sounds like someone jumped in head first and has no idea what they’ve gotten themselves in to. I’ve been in car haul for 15 years and driving in one form or another since ‘88 and still have a ton of questions.Banker Thanks this.

forums use to be of good and helpful information but now days not so helpful
-
That's not always true and it's especially not always true on this forum.
We have members here who go out of their way to give advice, share experiences, and just generally help any way they can. They take up their own time when they could be doing something a lot more interesting than answering the same questions over and over again. I admire their patience.
A lot of the first time posters don't even know the right questions to ask but they demand immediate and accurate answers. Those people will get help, too. The answers they get might not always be the answers they want but the information is valid an d honestly given.
We also have people posting that mainly want validation for something incredibly dumb and totally unworkable that they've already decided to do. They get offended when people with a lot of experience try to talk them out of something that can only end in failure. There's not much we can do to help people like that.
Does TTR have some members who aren't helpful and who post sarcastic comments and add nothing of any value to the forum ? Yes we do but we try to weed those out when we have a chance.BigBob410 Thanks this.
