Thick rubber like mud flap would or conveyor belt be good and a way to hold them tight to the floor so they can't shift around. It's the constant vibration that puts the holes in them from my experience.

I don't think that is even possible. My buddy and I were parked in Houston and he had all of the outside tires stolen off his truck and trailer as he was asleep inside and I was parked next to him.
