I’m curious about you Sherwin Williams drivers,
How many miles and stops do you average per week? -
When I was regional, 23-2400. 90% of the time I'd peddle two trailers - call it 10-12 store stops plus backhauls which were almost always d/h at a SW facility.RoadCall and 4mer trucker Thank this.

What does 2300-2400 miles per week gross there? Mileage plus accessory.Longarm Thanks this.

Today? Not really sure because I've been a city/hourly guy almost 3 years. In 2018 I did 88k without trying but that was 4 pay raises (and some shuffling of pay line items) ago.HiramKingWilliams, RoadCall and 4mer trucker Thank this.

With you being in S Illinois I’m guessing you average 3 loads a week?

I'd have to look back to do the math. I can tell you that I did just under 70k last year, before the raise. I know a driver here who did about $97k. He is a MUCH harder runner than me.
Remember, that is BEFORE the 19% raise. That should give you a real world range of what the potential here is. I will tell you that the $70k I did was EASY money, for trucking. This is the least stressful trucking job I've ever had. In 2 1/2 years they have a 100% success rate in getting me home for the weekend!!
The dispatch folks out of Effingham MAKE this job. I've had NONE of that nastiness that exists in most trucking jobs. They are always civil, reasonable, and pleasant to deal with.Longarm, HiramKingWilliams and RoadCall Thank this. -
I know a couple of drivers out of Effingham, they both do $95k plus but they both run balls to the wall.
I was curious to see if they are the average driver or the exception.
ThanksLongarm Thanks this.
