We gotta deliver ice cream mix to miami in the morning. Just pulled into a rest area 90 mile away. I don't wanna go all the way an not have any where to park . place is a Performance Food Group with limited street parking.

 

Hi fellas, I was wondering if any of you cook food & make coffee in your trucks. I forgot whether one of you said that their is an inverter in the trucks. also, is the fridge very big? I've got a coffee maker, blender & a microwave & I would like to use them to make my meals.

 

Yeah @Professor No-Name and his wife make food on their truck. I believe he says the shop can install one for you but don’t take my word for it. Fridge is decent size I haven’t filled it to the brim but I’m sure you could get quite a bit of food in there

 

Yea we bought an inverter from the shop an they installed it. As a solo guy ya don't necessarily need one. Ya can power all those things with the apu as long as it's working. We have the inverter so we can cook while the truck is moving. That way we don't gotta stop to use the apu to fix meals.

 

Man I forgot about that. Will the apu handle the watts that all of those need? If so, you're right. I wont need an inverter.

 

It will power all that stuff. I don't know if it will run it all at the same time or not. Also yea the fridge is decent size. We also have a plug in Coleman cooler. We put food stuff in fridge and drinks in the cooler.
