I don't know, what is it?
Whats an "ultimum"? Could you have meant "ultimate"?
Maybe if you are going to sarcastically criticize...you should be wary of the same offense!
Just saying.![]()
Bad atitudes verses positive

Now that's funny right there....LavenderTrucker and otherhalftw Thank this. -
Thanks SouthernPride... This is an awesome experience.. There are challeges... but, everyday I am learning something or doing something better than I did the day before.
My next big challenge is facing and dealing with the big tarp we have, it weighs more than I do. Usually the fork lift guys help out. But early today, big D was telling me I could dit on my own, I just ae to out smart it and not try to out brawn it with my size. (or lack of)
Tomorrow after we load there will be plenty of time for me to tackle it. I have a few Ideas I am working through.
I'll let you know how it goes... for now it is to my wylie coyote board to figure it out LOL -
Hmmmmmm....I just looked out in the driveway and all I can find is a Black W900L!
My 1989 Volvo White must be at the cleaners...
The reason behind the thread was to point out that while trucking is not easy and you're not gonna get rich, If you have the right attitude...(There's that word) you can do well and make a good living while keeping your independence.
I know people that are leased on to big trucking companies and they are doing well.
Not "old foagies" that have an '89 Volvo White but guys that get out there and have a work smart attitude (there's that word again) and a head for business.
WHAT?!?!?
Wrong attitude...(There's that word again)
Wrong attitude...(There's that word again)
NO we don't! We look at it as a business!
Don't get me wrong, I love my truck and I love makin' it look good and runnin' it up and down the road with style...But I also like money and have no illusions about why I'm in business!
It's to make money!
Wrong attitude...(There's that word again)
Don't buy a truck!
A major reason to start a business.
Or unless you are entering into the business with the right attitude...(There's that word again)
If you are smart and versatile and can adapt to the business environment, you can make money but with a bad attitude...(There's that word again) You will not make it!Last edited: Dec 31, 2009
LavenderTrucker, otherhalftw and JustSonny Thank this. -
you guys r great I haul horses and when they r slow occassionally frieght it is long hours and sometimes long nights but if you r proud of it like I am the time flies I may work for a maller out fit but they try to get me plenty of home time to see my family I am still green at all this but listening to you guys makes it better to go on down the road unlike these people who r miserable and find every reason to hate trucking i think it has to be in your blood and not just for a job to enjoy it. I also cant complain on the money i make it pays alot better than most jobs
