    At some point while those people were scooping the gas from the ruptures all it took was a spark or static discharge to trigger an explosion!

    This is a fairly common occurrence in the 3rd world. There are many videos on live leak and similar showing this sort of thing, typically in Latin America.

    It's sad, a bunch of peasants with something to collect the gas approach the overturned tanker, only to shortly after all be on fire screaming.
