Id say it’ll look better post Thanksgiving as I believe Dune said but I’d agree with the season being not normal. As in this may be dubbed the Christmas of the gift card. (Post holiday shopping much heavier then normal due to late product arrivals).

Usually for me it picks up after TG but like you said it ain’t a normal year, many other drivers I know say they think good times will last till February.

I’m hoping it does because I’m setting up my exit plan as we speak and the more days like this the better.

For what it’s worth. News poll today said 40% of people polled plan on using credit cards this Christmas, and spend plenty. Consumer debt already at an all time high, due mainly to Homes and automobiles. Not credit cards. A higher than average amount say they’ll spend the money on themselves, not others. Merry Christmas to Me Me Me. Lol. What does it all mean????

None of it really makes any sense to me. I live in rural Iowa and all the stores are full and they have pallets of stuff sitting in isles at good ol’ Walmart. Don’t get much more flyover than here.

You said it.....you live in rural Iowa. A rural area is one thing, and a bigger city, and not even necessarily a major city, is another thing. I've been to Walmarts in a bunch of different areas, and there have are empty shelves in spots. It isn't barren all the time, but there are times where I've had to make adjustments due to a price being more money than I want to give for that item, or am item not available. For certain items, yes there are definitely supply issues.

Not really seeing the rates come down anymore than that little bit back in the beginning of summer. Although i never leave this little area.

No more booking a week out for the high rates. Watch the board and be ready to peel out within a hour
