It's been decent this past couple trips. Has been very windy across Wyoming with 60 mph gusts. Ran in snow around elk mountain 3 trips ago.57 model, bryan21384, motocross25 and 1 other person Thank this.

Good thing you know what you're doing too! That's why we keep getting those messages every so often about using the load locks. Every time I drop a trailer somewhere, the load is secured some kind of way, except in extremely rare instances. A driver doing the smallest things in trucking will prevent big time catastrophic issues.

You definitely have a couple of options there, I try to get to the one that's like 5 minutes away from the Walmart. Where the pumps are, like 8 trucks can probably get in there, but lot in the back, it depends on how everyone parks. Those truck stops that don't have clearly defined lines, many drivers don't seem to have enough wherewithal to park right, so the max number of trucks can get in there.

The info says come to STL with it. I'm hoping they take it off if me. I'm going to make sure I load it super early and haul ### to STL...last time I went there, I checked in early and almost didn't get unloaded because they forgot to call me. Slept all night waiting too. Shameful.

Well gentlemen I have come here humbly to ask your opinion. As a long time lurker and sometimes chimer inner, I have become more and more intrigued. Long story short and without airing out my dirty laundry, due to some life changing events, I am the sole income provider for my house. Thus, I need to make better paychecks than what end dumping has to offer. I was going to inquire about Climate, I know to talk to the recruiter but I was wanting opinions on people in the know. I live in KC and I have my daughter on weekends. The company website says most drivers are out 2 weeks with 2 full days off, some are able to do 34’s at home weekly. With me being in KC, would this be a lane I could do my resets at home during the weekend? I know that’s hard to come by and I know it’s not ideal for a company that runs the way Climate does, but unfortunately that’s my situation right now. I just didn’t even know if I should call and ask if you guys say there’s no way that’s doable. I do have a couple irons in the fire, some sound promising, but the more options the better so I thought I’d pick the brains of you fine gentleman. Thanks in advance.

Personally, I don't see why that would be difficult to come by. We do so many loads to New Century. Just delivered there Sunday night and reloaded there yesterday, as a matter of fact. Kansas City is definitely in their running lanes, as that is a major city I see all the time. I've seen KC 3 times in 7 days more than a couple of times since working here, all those Colorado runs lol .... I'd encourage you to at least talk with them, and they'll be totally honest with you concerning your situation.

I know they have done home weekly for guys in the past for special needs or circumstances. I'd say you live in a good area for it to be doable. I don't know how the miles would stack up going home every week. It would be worth a call. I know if i were running solo i could be doing 70k a yr. Plenty of companies advertising 70k to 100k a yr.bryan21384 and 57 model Thank this.
