What is it for?

 

I’m surprised they didn’t want to put some counter weights on and the boom on top. Unless someone is getting a replacement piece. Usually if someone is getting a whole crane they won’t let you off that easy.

 

Selma. Which is their fancy way of saying "Northeast San Antonio".

 

It’s a crane boom section, 40 feet long purchased in support of a warehouse expansion project.

 

I love new crane shipments, sometimes the falloff is just that one last piece that absolutely needs to go .

 

Nice!! 40’ of lattice boom is a must have!

 

For those that wondered, this is the crane (Linkbelt 238 150 ton capacity) with the last pice…

 

18 winches, and four ratchet straps.

 

Headed to the house. Then home for the holiday.
