Hi fellas, well I start my 3rd. week at Climate Express tomorrow. Boy I can't believe how much things have changed since 2017 when I was on the road. Especially when it comes to finding a spot to do my 10 hour break. They need to do something about providing decent parking for us truckers out here. also, the logs have become more difficult to do because of the many steps that have to be done. Man they have to know every move that I make! Justin is my dispatcher & he really keeps me busy. I just thought that I'd say hi. see ya.Professor No-Name, bryan21384, mdmgolfin and 3 others Thank this.

Yea for better or worse the days of driving all night with 2 logs books on the floor and your eyes bleeding are over. I agree with the difficulty sometimes in finding a spot to park. I try to hole up either at the shipper or the receiver. Everyone parks up at trucks stops at 5 pm, and the clientele there anyway make it hard to get a break when you’re worried someone’s gonna back into you.Professor No-Name and 57 model Thank this.

Where they got ya running at? I'm reloading in Hutchins, TX now. Grabbing a load of pallets for Warrenton Coke. I'll get back up there probably in the midday hrs tops. Parking does suck especially if the truck stops are full....a lot of Climate's customers have overnight parking and I am grateful for that! I managed to get off loaded early in Waco last night so I PCd over to the nearby Walmart.....that elog will be one 2nd nature once you get used to the nuances. At thus point, I couldn't ever imagine running paper again. I actually like this better.....lol maybe I'm lazyProfessor No-Name, dwells40, 57 model and 1 other person Thank this.

I do too.....I've even got to a point in which I used shippers and receivers that I am not even picking up or delivering to...I just need to borrow their lot for the night lol.Professor No-Name, dwells40, 57 model and 2 others Thank this.

Haha! Yep same. I pull an end dump so I’ll Google the closest MFA or grain elevator, and pull the ole “don’t mind if I do”.
