If I switch a Detroit DD13 Motor for a 60 series Detroit in a 2015 Freightliner, do I need to change turbos and starters as well?

Why would you need to change turbos?

If that is your only concerns - dont even think about it . Better buy complete truck assembled already by someone elseRideandrepair and Roger McG Thank this.

Btw i have 2013 freightliner with 12.7 series 60 detroit ....dont remember what old engine was ...detroit or cummins...just the kit to have it installed and working was near 10k

I appreciate it. The mechanic stated that it would be best to replace the starter and the turbo. I'm just trying to see if it's worth it. Not trying to buy another truck right with the prices the way they are.Rideandrepair Thanks this.
