95 kenworth t600 gauges issue 3406e engine

    Recently half my gauges stopped working along with the all interior cab lights. The gauges lights all work but no battery volts reading water temp oil temp rpm trans temp fuel rear rear axle oil temp.. found a bad fuze in the fuse box one was bad so i changed it and all cab lights worked but the gauges stil not working.. i bought 8 new gauges and only installed 2 (battery and water temp) since kw dealer said if u hooked them up i couldnt return them for refund so the 2 i put it still didnt work at all.. any one have any idea whats going on??

    The odds of 8 gauges going bad at the same time are near zero

    do the gauges have two wires ?

    a lot of the older trucks like the older cars had gauges that passed the electricity through the gauge and to the sender .
    The sender in the fuel tank or temp or whatever , then grounded that voltage by a variable amount , and the variable voltage is what causes the gauge needle to move .

    you need to find a wiring diagram
    Or just track down the power source for those 8 gauges

    it’s likely a bad fuse or bad relay or a bad connection .

    Sure was a 10amp fuse i gues i was ina hurry when looking at them thanks buddy
