No more sparkys in Rockwell city iowa

I hope they rebuild. There’s nothing along there for quite a ways.

 

I'm here because no one else pointed out the irony of "Sparky's" burning down.

 

That is funny. I hadn’t thought about that in that way, there are a few “Sparky’s” around here and there in Iowa so we’re used to it. We actually got a Qualcomm message on that telling us to plan our fueling around. Mostly I’ll miss the potty stop and their chicken.

 

I never got fuel there, but it was a good place to stop to pee and grap some food. Friendly staff too, and lots of old school truckers always hanging around.

Hwy 20 between there and waterloo is a long and boring drive, i always stopped there to revive myself after driving that stretch. Will miss them.
