What are the laws for having passengers with you in your truck if your your own authority? You know..can you bring your family with you? & if so do you need to have them covered thru your insurance?

Just check with your insurance for the rider policy to make sure they are covered. Usually you have to add it, but it's cheap.ProfessionalNoticer, feldsforever, Pamela1990 and 4 others Thank this.

Rules say the company must authorize any passengers. You're an owner op. Therefore, you're the company. You can let anyone ride you choose.
Having said that, you need to check with your insurance co & make sure riders/pets etc are covered/added to your policyPamela1990, Dino soar and Batman13 Thank this. -
