I personally haven't heard of these. Do you need king pin sleeves? In any case, I recommend you go to a spring shop. They do these type of repairs daily, they are fast and efficient.BoxCarKidd and ibcalm19 Thank this.

I've used Rockwell and Stemco version. Work well, but you must grease them often. If you don't have scheduled maintenance and good about it. They are not for you.
Pamela1990 Thanks this. -
I grease about 2-3 weeks at most but I don’t drive that much. About 2.2k miles a week.Rideandrepair and jamespmack Thank this.

If you grease around 5k you will be fine.Rideandrepair and LoneRanger Thank this.

Is there no grease needed king pins?Rideandrepair and jamespmack Thank this.

You MUST grease your king pins! At a minimum, every 2 weeks. Otherwise you will have premature king pin wear.Pamela1990 and Rideandrepair Thank this.

That I know. I was wondering if there are sealed versions.Rideandrepair Thanks this.

I have never heard of any. I actually grease mine weekly.Pamela1990 and Rideandrepair Thank this.

I don’t know. Price seems average. I was told once to use a Kysor reamless bushing Kit. Everyone makes the quick kits. I think I’ll stick with the regular ones. Mainly because my originals lasted a long time. Same with all my front end parts. Whatever brand they are, probably Merritor, that’s what I’m using. A bigger concern is if your spindle is egg holed out. New ones are expensive. They can be bored and sleeved. Axle Surgeon does them. I’ve heard that if it’s needed, it’s best pricewise to have them do the whole Job. Easyrider has an excellent video on YouTube doing kingpins. Reaming them doesn’t seem very hard. Makes for an exact fit. The reamless spiral are ideal for a do it yourselfer. I think I’d use any of the Major brands. Some aftermarket kits are so cheap. Can’t help but be Leary of them.
BoxCarKidd and LoneRanger Thank this.
