i haven't done OTR in a while, so it's not so clear anymore to me which T/A's are good. Breezewood, PA (as soon as you get off the turnpike, i think) is a T/A? That one is OK, although they shut down the restaurant which i think detracts from it's value, i think there is a carry out in place of the former restaurant? And it is OK quality.

But yeah, in general, T/A SUCKS.

The other point i want to bring up is that i noticed that most airports have reasonably clean, and in many cases VERY clean restrooms. Airports are HIGH TRAFFIC facilities. So, there's no excuse and no reason a truckstop can also have very clean and good restrooms.

T/A "management" are bad people. It's sad.

High Traffic is not synonymous with High Margin nor High Profit.

Hate to say it we have a group of drivers who are worse than the general public. Ever see these pigs in truck stops. They #### on the floors, spread fecal matter on the walls. Some absolutely destroy showers. Have seen them call in bio hazard crews to clean up after some of the disgusting pigs. air ports I am sure have some nasty people but not like we have in trucking

Agreed. I’d hate to see the homes of some of these people. I bet their yards are equally appealing too. Full of trash and piss bottles.

Unless I’m in a pinch I will avoid all major chain truck stops. I’ve been avoiding fueling at TA and Petro also, that bio diesel is garbage.

I remember the 76 in Sparks was Sierra Sid’s not 49er in 1980. The 49ers were Sacramento and Winnemucca.

Prior to Sierra Sids (who owned the casino on the same property) it was a 49er.

You have to be out of fuel, I mean out....the truck will not move, to stop at that hole in Sacramento.
