Arrow driver JOHN "JR" EISCHENS is still missing!

Truck# 6325
(Moderators...I would not post the truck number if it were not serious...please bear with me)

John's family last heard from him approx. 5-7 days prior to the shutdown. John did not call any of his family at Christmas for the FIRST time in his 34 years.

It has now been THREE WEEKS with no word from John and his family is adamant that this is extremely out of character for him.

When John last called, he had no money. As Arrow bounced drivers' last several paychecks AND cut off, the week prior to the shutdown, the limited $75 advances they allowed their drivers to take- JOHN WOULD HAVE HAD NOTHING.

We are working many angles, frantically trying to locate this driver. His mother, this morning, officially filed a missing persons report for him. She is worried sick.

John is described as 6'1" tall, weighing approximately 200 pounds, and has short dishwater blonde hair. We are working on obtaining a photo from the family.

If you have any information about this driver- please contact myself or any of the other administrators at the Arrow Trucking Volunteer Support board on Facebook!

Yeah, last known location and a photo would help. I'll keep an eye out as soon as they figure out how to put my truck back together.

No, although I went to Arrow's website and have requested the info via their "Feedback" page <rolls eyes>. I really don't expect to hear anything from that. I also called the Peilsticker home number and left a message asking for the info.

I'd *really* hate to think what it would mean for them if this guy turns up dead. He had no money for food or shelter.

I'm praying he's found a new job somewhere and is just waiting for his first paycheck to turn his pre-paid phone back on...although his not calling family at Christmas...even collect...is NOT a good sign. :biggrin_2557:

In today's age of nearly every one having a cell phone I'll just bet that it wouldn't take more than 5 mins to find some one willing to allow a person a short call home to tell them you're OK.

I hate to be negative here, and its possible a miracle will happen.
But realistically the odds of finding this driver OK are about 99.9% negative. After this much time it doesn't look good. Ask any missing persons detective. They'll tell you the odds are really really low. I'm sorry.

I hope he is found OK.

If you can figure out who his DM was, you might be able to get a hold of that person directly. They might remember where he was and actually care about it, unlike pigsticker. They might not though. When I was there each DM was managing 50 trucks and that probably got worse before the end. Then again, Qualcom would still have his messages stored. They might help too.

Yep...that is pretty much my fear. According to his family, John was a family oriented guy. So for him not to call...even collect....I just can't see it meaning anything good.

The lack of media response is mind boggling. Here you have hundreds of drivers dumped on the road, trucks yanked out from under them, broke due to bounced paychecks and advances cut off...now a missing, endangered driver....

And I'm watching "Obama's Hawaii Holiday" and a story about a couple out in the snow looking for a Christmas tree...

Sorry, but it has to be said.....WTF?????
Blows my mind.....

The citizens of this country love fluff. It's pathetic, I know. I hope this person is found no matter what. I fear that he is not going to be alive but the family still needs to know.
