Escrow accounts

I lost scrow in Kandstar, Kavala, and kid group. They talk a lot #### and keep the money. If we are owner operators we need drive under us authority. That's all!!!

 

The DOT has rules regarding Escrow accounting.

Some, er.... many companies continously ignore them on a regular basis.

Escrow is supposed to be held in it's own interest bearing account, separate from the Motor Carriers business accounts.

You are supposed to receive regular statements showing the interest earned, etc.

When you leave you are supposed to receive documentation of the deductions which should be limited by the terms of your lease contract.

How many owner operators actually receive all of this....not too many!
