Never in a million years did I ever think I would ask this question.
What brand or make or what ever its called laptop or iPad do drivers use for there truck fault code scanning system. Or os it the software that matters....That will be one of my first purchases in January.
6 different codes in 3 days. Yup I'm done Google searching.
Thanks in advance
Lap top question for scanning software?

What kind of truck/engine? I have a Volvo with a D13 and a Dell laptop with Premium Tech Tool on it. I believe that's Volvo/Mack specific. About $3800 into everything.77fib77 and feldsforever Thank this.

Isn't there an easier way to pull your codes? A computer and software is going g to cost a chunk plus there's definitely a learning curve to use it.feldsforever Thanks this.

These are the people I got my laptop from. I feel every o/o should have one. Has dealer level software for every single truck. Theres literally nothing you cant see that a dealer can. Heck you can even figure out if something is going wrong before it even does. It's an investment but it pays for itself in the long run

If you just want to see codes, get a code reader or take it to shop that can print them out for you.
