Smokr, how much time are you spending behind the wheel?

 

Thanks Smokr for the posts. I am looking to start school on the 25th. And reading all these posts tonight has enlightened me.

 

Been with alltel since before they were alltel. So you drove the "devils" highway then. No longer numbered route 666, except on old maps, and at the indian reservation fuel stop.

 

Maybee as you progress further with the training you will get more time.

 

That is a lousy way to train....sorry just my opinion. You should be behind the wheel a whole lot more, and get a chance to feel what it is like to drive in wind, snow, rain. There is cautious, and then there is bad training. A person learns very little from the sleeper or the jump seat.

 

I would have to agree with you. The whole purpose of being on the truck is to learn how to do it.
If he does not start letting you drive, I would request another trainer...or have a heart to heart with him and see if he lets you...then if not, get another trainer!
