Put that toothpick between your teeth and mash on that throttle!
Put that shiny hiney in the wind!

According to reviews on Google, 4900 Clay has overnight parking with porta potties.

So, I made it an hour early. Would’ve been sooner if not for Chicago traffic. I don’t know what I was worried about. I’m short on sleep. Maybe I can’t math when I’m so tired. Thanks to everyone for the assist, I really appreciate there’s a place to pick some trucker brains. One day I’ll contribute something useful to this forum, but until then, I think I’ll maintain my soak it all up position. That sounded a little weird. Whatever, I’m tired, good night!

Keep left door shut, use every minute available to you. Nothing fancy needed.

Sometimes it can be overthought. Hammer down son.

The fact that you know how to use the split berth and your carrier allows it, is critical to making something like this work. Another thing about that to keep in the back of your mind is, log SB at the end of your break even if it's 10+. That way when you do the off duty part, 2+ hours (or more if your SB was less than 8) pauses your 14 clock.

I used that one just this morning. Rolled into an Aldi DC at 0100 with just enough drive time left to top my reefer fuel and get back to the yard. By doing that, it didn't matter if it took them 2 hours or 5 hours, I'd still have that 1:15 drive and 2-something shift remaining, to finish up.
