Dang i got behind in this thread . hope u guys are doing well. My butt has been sitting on the couch ever since I got home to sunny arizona the first week of decemeber. Sure beats driving around the frozen tundra chaining up 5 million times a day.

Been spending most of the weekend with my uncle cleaning out my great aunt and my grandmas house . lost both of them this year . found some old pictures of my aunt and my grandma when they were in their 20s my god they were stunningly beautiful, ive only known them to be older and with gray hair. Sometimes I think even know death is something hard to deal with. The things we learn about the family after going thru pictures and old paperwork its an interesting experience to say the least. Gives me a greater appreciation for my families heritage and from the humble beginnings they came from.

Funny how that translates all down to me becoming a crazy truck driver. Grandpa was a locomotive engineer in the copper mines. Both my great grandpas was a mechanic in the copper mines. Grandma and my great aunt they ran an accouting business .. Uncle is a firefighter my other uncles are mechanics and truck drivers..

It's just amazing the apple really doesnt fall far from the tree. I always wondered why i have that love for running equipment and turning wrenches. And always wanted to run my own business. It makes sense now. Its been passed down thru the family.

Amazing. I've never known anyone that could do it but I wondered why some could and others couldn't.

Those hydronic heaters are nice. I wish I had coolant tubes in the oil pan to warm the oil too.

I loved those chats with engineering. "When you figure it out, can you let us know so we can tell everyone else?"
I sent about 2 dozen allison pump seals once, each in a bag with the dirt that surrounded the seal.
I said this seal needs a dust lip. The 1st design seal was a single lip seal. Took 3 years for the change up to a double lip seal. I made bank off that.
