It might replace some otr long haul general freight guys. Entry level drivers. But that is about it, for the next 25 years.

They do not have the capacity to replace linehaul zombie trucking. Those guys are better than any automated truck. And can run more miles.

Current situation is hiding in my office...

Loud group of 19 and 20 year old humans in the living room playing Dungeons and Dragons because they're nerds.

 

So the questions which begs to be answered is: how did this come to be in the first place?

They kicked uber out after they ran over a lady couple years back and killed her. Now its just waymo and the driverless truck companies.

 

I think its the clean energy plate for arizona. On top of being driverless i think they are mostly electric cars or hybrids.

 

Waymo is supposed to be the leader of the pack in such matters.
