And am wondering which engine is giving best mgp and least trouble.
Thanks

Assuming you're not real eager to go from a Pete to something like a Volvo or Freigjliner. I'd say go brand new off the lot, Pete or KW with a X15 in it and trade it off before warranty is up and get another. That's the only way I'd ever think about getting an emmissions sadness truck.

I’m partial to Detroits. An engine guy My buddy talked to recently said Paccar, which surprised me. If its brand new, take the advice above. In these times, any breakdown on newer equipment could be bad depending on parts availability. Pick your poison.

Newer truck...mmm Cummin X15 since there are so many Cummins dealers/service centers along with the dealerships that can work on them. Also Cummins saved International after the MaxForce fiasco by providing them their after treatment system. I also believe Mack uses the Cummins after treatment on the MP8 or one that is very similar so Cummins seems to have a good one.
Or you thinking another Hood or an aero rig? -
Mercedes? Last Detroit was the Series 60 IMO!little cat 500 Thanks this.

Right foot and aerodynamics have far more of an effect on fuel economy than the engine under the hood.
