Is it still drivable ?

I only took photos of the "Hitter's" CDL, truck & trailer, with all of the numbers, license plates, and damage. I took photos of my truck and trailer, photos of the surrounding area for context of where/how the crash happened. Then I called my company and let them decide what else.
IH Truck Guy Thanks this. -
Are you a company driver? Have you called accident claims and your dispatcher? What is the condition of your vehicle?

If this is a company truck they usually have a policy and procedure for accidents. Call the company and get safety on the line. They will tell you what to do and then they will probably have you call an 800 number for their insurance claims department.
With that being said, document everything. Take pics of the entire situation and surroundings. Get as much info as you possibly can get. Ask around for witnesses.
Also, I would not take the truck anywhere or even move it until the company gives the go-ahead. Now, if this is your truck then still do all of the necessities and call your insurance for guidance.Last edited: Jan 4, 2022

If owner I would also contact your insurance company and let them know. Would take to dealer and get estimate. Police report and all driver and company information and hope they dont try and fight it. Good Luck
