My first week has been pretty smooth, I got a decent run out of the gate (about 1200 miles). I really like the atmosphere here, my dispatcher seems like he will be pretty easy to work with. One thing to remember I'd GTS is only four years old and still pretty small so there will be "growing pains" but I can deal with that. I'm really interested to see what the future holds for GTS, I can't really form an opinion for a few months but as of right now... I don't see myself going anywhere for a while. As far as flowtrans they are a separate company from GTS

That's a good start, hopefully it continues that way for you.
The Flowtrans thing was just someone told me. I occasionally see Flowtrans tractors in the exact color scheme and spec as GTS tractors so hearing they were bought out or whatever carried some weight.Twisted0ne Thanks this. -
If you go to FlowTrans website it explains how they were started by Victor Thompson who was involved with Indian River and no FlowTrans
Twisted0ne, Speed_Drums and Redtwin Thank this. -
Unfortunately my time at GTS will come to an end tomorrow, the reason I'm making this post is because I want to be honest about my experience here, not because I want to keep anyone away. That being said, I feel GTS has some changes that need to be made, everything here is really unorganized. I think their favorite saying is "change of plans", the constant changing dispatch really got to my ocd to the point I didn't know if I needed to head to one place or wait to see if I was going to need to turn around and go closer to where I started my day. Hope everyone has a happy new year.

Where are you going next? Hopefully wherever that will work out a lot better for you.

Was GTS better, worse or the same as IRT?.

I used to drive for gts. I remember thinking that if Tony Ashley, who was the main dispatcher, left the company, the company was going to fall apart. I left early 2021, and Tony left like 4 months later. Take that as you will.
