I’m getting a backache watching this guy unload those kegs. Yikes. (Ironically I am drinking beer watching this.)

I have always enjoyed hard work. Physical labor never scared me. Something refreshing about going home a little bit physically beat up and tired and sleeping good and waking up the next day to do it again. But I agree with you, Hardwork is a thing of the past with this current generation. And maybe they are smarter than us. They will have computers and artificial intelligence doing everything for them. Some scientists theorized the people and humans may not even have to work at all in generations down the road. They’ll just pursue hobbies and things of interest. Also, the current science article I just read said that a child born today, minus war etc. will likely live to be 130 years old on average.

We were probably the last generation of the “Neanderthals“. Lol

With only hobbies to keep them driven, suicide rates are going to explode.

Which is good for the elites who will own the machines that will replace us, because who wants to feed useless eaters?

Exactly and food service tends to pay hourly with over time while many beverage companies screw the driver over by paying by the piece.

When my cousin did beer deliveries, he took the damages home. The company told him not to throw it in the dumpster; either bring it back to the warehouse or take it home.

We sold Coor, Pabst, Colt45, Heineken and Zima. The farther out in the sticks you went, the more PBR you moved. In the hood, it was Colt45, Olde English, and Mickeys. In the gay bars, they went crazy for Zima.

The big problem with beer is the company would try to do a promotion with Coors at a chain grocer or a convenience chain. In black areas, you wouldn’t move 2 cases of Coors in a year, and they would set up a hundred case display. They paid $.15/case. If I had to pick it up, that cost me $7.44/case. Do the math on that. That can QUICKLY wipe out your paycheck.

And then, they will say something about throwing the beer into the dumpster. “You can’t sell that, Six.” I CAN give it away.

My cousin had cases and cases of Grape flavored malt liquor. He said no one wants it, but I just can't stand the thought of throwing it away.
I told him to drop it off late at night where the wino's and homeless people hang out.
