I never said anything of the sort. However, I've seen many lazy drivers look for any excuse possible to get out of working. If you were one of those drivers I'd grab your time card and put it in my desk. Whenever you felt like returning to the yard and went looking for said card to punch out I'd inform you that you no longer worked here.

See, I've been in this business for over three decades and I've been a commercial driver for 24 years. I know the games. I've even played them myself. So your little temper tantrum and childish "I'd let you come get the truck" games would get yourself burnt before me or the company.

 

This turned into a dispatcher thread so fast. Quick note on that, dispatchers are usually the bosses cousin, that is working their way through med school, and couldn't care less about the drivers,,,for the most part. Not to say, I haven't shmoozed my fair share with a free lunch or donuts,,, didn't make me any richer. Let's get back to pileups, shall we? 17 car pileup closes I-70 in Glenwood Canyon,,Nevada, something, 20 car pileup, and so on,,,

Normally it's a general manager who does the firing not dispatcher.
