I just take a pic and mail it to maintenance, then file it away.
I’ve also never filled out a cover sheet for TRANSFLO (GASP!). Everybody tells me I’m doing it wrong. I’m still getting paid though.
I always just assume I’m doing it wrong and keep everything for when the mothership calls.

as long as you have your truck number and load number and i guess the trailer number on the bol you dont need a coversheet. i didnt ever put a trailer number on mine, just the truck and load number. never had an issue.

Why would you put a trailer number on a truck maintenance report...?
-
Changed subjects on you. They are on the Trans-flow or what ever they are using to scan paperwork.F4T6UY and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

don't need a cover page if using the "landstar one" app
-
Because if you own your own trailer you have to submit reports for both units.jsnell and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

Yeah, my bad. Didn’t mean to take this into a 2 page derail event. I was just stating initially that I submitted my maintenance report by simply taking a pic of the paper and emailing it to landstar.
I don’t submit a trailer number on my truck maintenance report.
Then to further demonstrate my rebellious, non-conforming ways, I also never submitted a cover sheet when I TRANSFLO’d my BOL’s through the app to get paid.
I just write the truck# trip# trailer# on the first BOL page.
Carry on.subseaguru and flood Thank this.
