LOL if they are so stupid as to say no to your rate, then post it for more, that's not on you.
Had one yesterday say they couldn't go over 5800. Saw it posted later for 7800. When they get desperate, prices do funny things.mjd4277, shooter19802003, Speed_Drums and 2 others Thank this. -
LOL. You must have been listening in to our conversation, that’s almost word for word on how it went. I have to admit, I did tell her 17 instead of the 18 though. LOL.Mototom, shooter19802003 and Dino soar Thank this.

I totally understand her not wanting to go higher and not losing money. My problem was her posting it for a higher rate than I offered and then telling me she couldn’t pay ME that rate but she would pay it to someone else. She has posted these same loads for as much as 2200 in the past later in the evening because they couldn’t cover them. Yet some moron is taking them for 1000.Mototom, mjd4277, shooter19802003 and 4 others Thank this.

I'm going to be a bad guy in this thread. I think you were out of line. Only because my word is my bond. If I said 1500. I would have stuck with it. To automatically assume the broker was lying. Is stereotypical. The broker may have been telling the truth and had to go back to his customer and tell them it wasn't moving for the rate.
Granted. I think the broker was wrong for disregarding what the boss said, too.haycarter, Badmon, TallJoe and 1 other person Thank this. -
Always add into the conversation that the offer expires when the call ends.

I would of agreed when she pushed the 1500 but I would have raised my detention rate to 150/hr. There's more than one way to skin a cat.

That only goes so far. If she would have called back and asked if he would do 15 then fine. Stick to your word. But she posted for 16. She needs to stick to her word. Plain and simple. If you booked it for 12 and later saw it posted for 16. You should still do it for 12. It’s unprofessional to give it back just because you lost at the negotiating game. Just my humble opinion on the matter.Natty Bro, shooter19802003 and ProfessionalNoticer Thank this.

No where did I say she was lying about her rate. My problem is her telling me she would pass on my rate then offer it for more. Then she approved it with her boss and flat out tells me that just because I offered a rate 3 hrs earlier she was gonna give me a cheaper rate. She’s the one that said”I will pass” on my rate.Speed_Drums, mjd4277, shooter19802003 and 2 others Thank this.

I wasn't directing the lying about it to you. Others said it.shooter19802003 and buckeyetrucker Thank this.
