Yeah to an point like Prime wants you out 4 to 6 weeks .
I have been with diffrent companies and was an OTR driver but was home weekly if not home during the mid week as well.....
Guess i have just been lucky......
But as far as the mentality of these companies ....... yep just the same ol same ol.... some are worse then others......

Im currently driving Solo for a company in my area. A friend and me are thinking of going over to PRIME. My question is how do they pay theire team drivers. For instance if the truck does 5000 miles do you get paid for all miles the truck does.

They use ProMiles to rate the distances that you drive on each load... it's not "practical miles." It can vary +/- from actual... I've seen it go both ways. Company drivers split 52 cpm; lease drivers do whatever they decide to do.

Try alot lower on the cpm. More like 40 cpm split to start and a few more pennies with more experiance.
