Looking to purchase a truck which is a better brand Freightliners or Internationals? Also any recommended dealers live in the Atlanta area.
Any other info will be helpful.

    Thanks

While they once were both pretty good trucks I wouldn't buy either one and support the manufacturers by buying parts and services .
Both are shifting production to Mexico putting thousands of Americans out of work .
Are you an O/O ? Here's what James Hebe , a senior exec at Navistar has to say about you .

If you want to give money to a corp. that accuses you of illegal operation and plans on selling you trucks of inferior quality for more money , go for it .

I like the freightshaker, don't get me wrong, body style, plenty of room, feeling of comfort but you can't go wrong with a 379 Petercar. Never been in an international so I couldn't tell you but I would avoid anything with a Detroit motor in it though for sure. If going Freightliner try and find something with a Cat or Cummins in it.

    TheTruth1234 Thanks this.

I vote the same. We have had both, the Internationals we have now will be the last.

Internationals are more well put together..........freightliners are plasticy and very shaky......things easily break in them............international is the way to go, most definitely!

My 'liner has over a million miles on it. Detroit gets terrific mileage. Oil and fluid tests were awesome when I bought this truck.
I've got no complaints whatsoever. Maybe I'm the exception and not the rule. Don't know anything about Internationals, but if I were to consider them, I'd look into the 9900i. Great looking rig.
